Melissa, Lauren and Britney are the Three Sisters of 3 Sisters’ Books.
Yes, they are sisters, born in Alabama and raised in Boston, MA, Atlanta, GA and New York. They share the same parents, and a love for reading. With seven children between them, they love children’s books and non-fiction. Sibling Rivalry is too light a term to describe the friction and battling they engaged in while growing up, but now that they have all completed college and are married to the men of their dreams, they are now the best of friends and live within a few miles of each other north of Atlanta, Ga.

Since receiving a Smith-Corona typewriter when he was 11 years old, Thom has been the happiest when writing; Something. Anything. The Farm Life is in sharp contrast to working in major global cities and accruing frequent flyer points. The professional life of a senior business executive can be exhausting mentally and emotionally but has rewards in experiencing different cities and cultures. Life on The Farm is more physically exhausting but more authentic, more natural, and positively more stimulating. Living in total synchronization with the changes in seasons, the life (and death!) cycles of the farm animals and eating directly from the land brings a reward that is incalculable. This set of experiences, feeding animals, caring for gardens, maintaining ponds and all the activities that accompany farm life are inspiring. Much of the artifice of contemporary life is stripped away (including 5G internet!) and at the end of the day it is clear what one has accomplished----or not. This clarity is inspiring and brings a wealth of happiness and peace.
It is from this inspiration and perspective that the writing available here has sprung.
